Alina Ritzinger

Live-in Counsellor

Alina is a Psychology Master’s student at The University of Zurich. Before joining The Kusnacht Practice, she built her experience as a Youth Worker in her local community, supporting adolescents overcome daily mental challenges. In addition, she is a Member of the Committee of the Association of Environmental and Sustainable Psychology.

As a Live-in Counsellor, she combines her acquired theoretical knowledge, translating it into a well-founded set of competencies to encourage and engage clients throughout their treatment progress. With a particular interest in Personality and Motivational Psychology, Alina aspires to empower and enable clients to achieve their established self-development goals by building a solid therapeutic alliance along with the Medical Team. In being part of the Youth Programme, her work concentrates on accompanying young clients on their journey to recovery.

A Swiss native with experience living abroad, Alina is passionate and enthusiastic when meeting and learning about people and their stories, which resonates well with her role at The Kusnacht Practice by using her interpersonal skills to impact clients’ lives positively.

Alina speaks German, English and French.
