Dr. med. Pierre Sindelar is a renowned psychiatrist and psychotherapist based in The Kusnacht Practice’s Geneva branch.
Dr. Sindelar has a prolific background working in various domains, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Systemic Therapy (couple therapy), Sexology, Coaching, and Stress Management. He uses these skills alongside other doctors and medical specialists to create a comprehensive and customised treatment plan for each individual that visits The Kusnacht Practice.
Dr. Sindelar has taught postgraduate psychiatry at the University of Geneva (UNIGE) since 2007, lectured for Swiss Insurance Medicine (SIM) and has worked as a medical expert and medical supervisor in psychotherapy in litigation and insurance medicine.
He has been a medical consultant for many Human Resource Management teams, ranging from small private firms to large global corporations. Dr. Sindelar has worked in a wide array of settings, having made over 30 appearances in TV, print and other media as a specialist in his field. Dr. Sindelar is also actively engaged with NGOs and other charities in the Congo to help animal conservation in the area.
He is a board member of CEMed, FMH-Services, Dorigny Group, the author of Les Seigneurs du Management Edition Eyrolles and a member of the FMH, AMG, SSPP, SIM and ASPCO medical associations. He has also operated his own practice specialising in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Geneva since 2004. He regularly works with both young and experienced psychotherapists to pass his knowledge on and help them improve their areas of expertise.
