Maarit is a humanistic-transpersonal counsellor trained at the Psychosynthesis Trust and the University of East London and she also holds specialised training in addiction recovery in Finland. She also has an MA in Coaching and Mentoring from Oxford Brookes University. She’s registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).

Respectful of the heroic life changes our clients are making, Maarit holds a safe space for pause, reflection and transformation. Highly client-focused, she integrates a variety of evidence-based approaches including trauma-sensitive, developmental and systemic ways of working as well as mindfulness-based addiction recovery for both creative and pragmatic support.

With a background in business development and leadership, Maarit has extensive experience working with international leaders focusing on stress-related symptoms, burnout, depression, anxiety and addiction recovery. She’s deeply aware of the complexity and pressures of leaders in the current business environment.

Committed to her own path of personal development integrating Western and Eastern traditions, Maarit brings a calm, warm presence to her work. She’s also passionate about the holistic approach and current leaps in science being translated into cutting-edge nutrition and lifestyle solutions for our clients’ wellbeing.
