Dr. sc. med. Martin Zozman

Head of Nursing and Clinical Quality

Martin Zozman joined the Kusnacht Practice in August 2022 as a Senior Quality Consultant working part-time. In October 2023, he increased his workload to 100% and has been Head of Nursing and Clinical Quality since then. In addition to the organizational and strategic management of the nurses and their work environment, his area of responsibility includes ensuring and reviewing process and structural quality in the medical field, proposing and implementing guidelines, specifications, and legal frameworks, coordinating a wide variety of approval processes as well as reviewing instructions, guidelines, and concepts in the medical field.

After his 4-year training in a Swiss regional hospital, he started his professional career in 2006 as a registered nurse in an acute hospital setting. He went on to train as a professional educator, before embarking on an academic career in 2010 and obtaining a Master's degree in Nursing Science (MScN) from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur in 2016. Before, during and after his studies, he worked in an acute care hospital as a senior nursing expert. In addition, he held a leading position on the hospital's internal ethics committee and was also a nursing research coordinator for several years. He also successfully completed his Doctorate in Medical Sciences at the Private University in the principality of Liechtenstein (UFL) in 2024.

Martin has a passion for leading nurses and shaping and optimising their working environment. He is particularly interested in quality assurance and optimisation of processes and procedures for continuous improvement of the client’s well-being. The research and continuous development of expertise and professionalism in client-centered care is a vital part of The Kusnacht Practice. Martin is an integral member of the team due to his extensive and holistic education, experience, and knowledge.

He speaks fluent German and English and he is currently improving his French skills.
